Another journalist was sentenced to prison in Turkey because of his news. Journalist Emre Soncan who was a reporter at shuttered daily Zaman and has been in prison for two years has been handed down a prison sentence of seven-and-a-half years on terror charges. The trial at the İstanbul 25th High Criminal Court was concluded, and the court ordered him to stay in prison.
