We are officially on our own in Asia!
Sunil and his wonderful friends have left Bali and left us to go back to their lives in Malaysia :(
Our travels started on September 5th when we left Canada, but really, the adventure starts now. No more friends, no more partying (for now), no more safety net, no more people to order food for us, no more moneys.. the list goes on.
It was great to have Sunil help us slowly get accustomed to life in Asia, but now we must figure it out on our own.

We start out with baby steps, literally moving to a hotel down the block, and then to another hotel the following day just down the next block.
They may be baby steps, but we're headed in the right direction.

Stay tuned as we learn to lower our standards, expectations, and budget, as we venture through Bali (and much more) on our own.

Scotty and I quit our jobs, moved our stuff into storage and left Canada to travel all around Southeast Asia until the funds run out. We've always talked of doing something like this, but we decided to take the plunge and really go for it.

We are starting our travels in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and staying with our old pal and roommate Sunil. From there, we will be traveling to Bali, Indonesia.

Our goal is to experience as much as we can, get out of our comfort zones, and really live our lives to the fullest.

We plan to share this journey with friends and family and anyone else interested in our journey. The goal is to put out one travel vlog weekly, to share the good, the bad, and everything in between.
