The Indian National Congress has launched pan-India rallies against Narendra Modi and Gautam Adani in the midst of the ongoing Adani-Hindenburg dispute. Anti-Modi protests were held in large numbers across India. The Congress Party has agreed to stage nationwide rallies in front of Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) and State Bank of India (SBI) branches. The NSUI-Youth Congress will hold a protest outside the SBI and LIC offices at the Parliament Police Station in Delhi. In Karnataka, Congress workers protested in Bengaluru, demanding that the Hindenburg Research claims of fraud against the Adani Group be investigated by a Joint Parliamentary Committee. Hindenburg Research, a US short seller, has levelled severe claims against the Adani Group, citing unlawful use of offshore tax havens and stock manipulation. Listen In!
