A brief introduction to the conformational aspects of the cyclohexane ring. This six-membered ring is a traditional pedagogical tool in fundamental conformational analysis introduction to organic chemistry students. I use Sci-Gress molecular modeling platform to introduce 'molecular dynamics, equatorial/ axial positions and chair conformation. Ring-flipping dynamics is observed via the molecular dynamics technique.
