The US Assistant Secretary of State, Richard Holbrooke arrived in
Zagreb on Monday (6/3) to try to persuade Croatian President
Franjo Tudjman into reversing his decision not to extend the
mandate for UN peacekeepers in Croatia. Soon after arrival, Hobrooke -- accompanied by the US ambassador to Zagreb, Peter Galbraith -- went into talks with Tudjman.
