As per the latest updates, Twitter India’s MD, Manish Maheshwari, was questioned by Delhi cops regarding the alleged Congress toolkit case and the company’s policy behind flagging tweets by users as manipulated media. This came after Twitter labelled the manipulated media tag on a BJP spokesperson, Sambit Patra, on the covid toolkit matter attributed to the congress. Now, Delhi police’s special cell was set to Bengaluru on 31st May, where he was questioned. As part of the questioning, the main objective of the Delhi police was to find out the reasons and evidence that supported Twitter India’s decision to tag the Sambit Patra tweet as manipulated. However, the answers did not provide much clarity and were slightly vague to derive a clear and conclusive reason.
