Authentic Kerala Dishes With My Personal Touch 😍
Ingredients
Kappa / Tapioca - 1
Onion -1/2
Green Chilli -2-3
Ginger -Small Piece
Salt-
Turmeric Powder -1/4tsp
Water - 3cups
Curryleaves -
Thick Coconut Milk -1/4cup (Opt)
Coconut Oil -
For Seasoning
Coconut Oil -2tbsp
Onion -1/2 or small onion few
Mustard Seeds -1/2tsp
Dry Red Chilli -2
Curryleaves -
Additional
Curryleaves -few
Coconut Oil -1tbsp
Method
Slice the Tapioca and allow it to boil in hot water for 5 mins. Strain it and keep it in fresh water.Add the pieces into a cooker add some turmeric, ½ of a onion sliced, 2 big green chilly, curry leaves, ginger and salt. Mix well. Add some coconut oil and water and keep it for 2 whistles. Allow the pressure to release by itself.
Take a pan add some coconut oil. When it is heated up add some mustard seeds and allow it to splutter. Add some whole red chilly and curry leaves. Saute it . add sliced onion. Saute well. Add the boiled tapioca . add some warm water. Let it boil and mix well. Remove from fire. Add coconut milk. Stir well.
Add some coconut oil and curry leaves, close the lid and leave it aside.
