On 26 March we were joined on stage for an ‘In Conversation With’ discussion by notable physicist Professor Brian Cox and three student presenters, all of which have benefited from the generosity of donors at the University of Manchester. PhD Physics scholar Nick Dann, third year English Literature undergraduate scholar Rebecca Hardman and Oldham College 6th form student Bilal Chishti, who is participating in the University’s flagship social mobility programme, the Manchester Access Programme (MAP), asked Professor Cox a variety of questions about philanthropy at the University and higher education more broadly.
