Tom Nevin Murdered
55 year old Tom Nevin was found in the kitchen of ‘Jack White’s Inn’ located about five miles on the Dublin side of Arklow.
Gardaí believe the men who shot and killed the Wicklow publican got away with the pub’s takings for the bank holiday weekend.
Mrs Nevin who ran Jack White’s Inn near Arklow with her husband Tom was being comforted by relatives and friends today. She was said to be in shock following the raid on the pub in which she was tied up and her husband was shot.
Members of the special investigations at Garda headquarters have been drafted in to help on the investigation.
Investigations into the murder continue and Gardaí have appealed for anyone with information to come forward to help with their enquiries.
