2/2 RC without a cable needle (2 over 2 right cross)
With yarn in back, skip next 2 stitches on left-hand needle and insert right-hand needle from the front and purlwise into the 3rd and 4th stitches on left-hand needle at once. With your right index finger and thumb, secure all 4 stitches at their bottom and by holding them, carefully slip them together off the needle. Note: 3rd and 4th stitches from left-hand needle are now on the tip of right-hand needle. Still holding stitches at their bottom, insert left-hand needle from the back into 3rd and 4th stitches that aren’t on the needle (count from left to right), then slip back first 2 stitches from right-hand needle onto left-hand needle. Knit first 4 stitches on right-hand needle.
