Have you ever wanted to make a Traditional Cornish Pasty?
Follow along and I will show you from start to finish how to make Traditional Cornish Pasties. It's not as hard as you think. Follow along how I make these in the video. They are so tasty and such a simple recipe to put together. If you haven't tried making a pasty before here start here with this recipe and you will make an amazing tasty golden crusted pasty with delicious juicy filling.
Pasties can be eaten on their own as a snack/light lunch or form part of a main meal and easily go well with a salad or vegetable couscous like this one

Ingredients:
Pastry:
500g Strong/Bread Flour
120g Lard cubed
125g Salted Butter cubed
1 teaspoon of Salt
175 ml cold water
Filling:
500g Beef Skirt cut on the cross grain cubed
300g Waxy potatoes such as Aaron Pilot, Mayan Gold cubed not peeled
180g Suede (Rutabaga) cubed
150g Onion cubed
1 teaspoon Salt or to taste
1 teaspoon Ground White Pepper or to taste
Pastry Wash:
1 whole egg
20 ml milk
Bake in oven at 200C/Gas Mark 6 for 45 mins or 180C for fan ovens
