We travel the Georgia Traverse overland route through the Chattahoochee National Forest. We talk a little about road closures, the Gaia Map App, and show you the road conditions, closures, and difficulty you can expect if you're planning a trip there.
The trail has enough to keep a seasoned offroader happy, yet can still be traveled in most vehicles with above average ground clearance. It offers some of the best dispersed camping options we've seen anywhere. Although it gives incredible solitude and remoteness, civilization and the immensities it provides is seldom more than an hour's drive away. A great example of Southeast Overlanding!
