Following days of heavy rains in catchment areas, Pune’s Khadakwasla dam is completely filled. Water is being discharged from the dam after it reached its maximum capacity of 1.97 million cubic feet. Locals are visiting Khadakwasla dam to watch the discharge of water. Water level in Mutha river has risen due to the discharge and some low-lying areas are in danger of being inundated.
