The Acer Predator Helios 300 is a solid gaming laptop for the price it comes in at. It can handle pretty much any game on higher settings with well over 60 frames per second. For less-demanding esports titles, the GTX 1060 and the 144Hz refresh rate monitor combine to deliver an ideal in-game experience.
The cooling and battery life are subpar, but in this price range you probably won't find options that handle those areas much better.
Overall, if you have ~$1,000 to spend on a gaming laptop, the Predator Helios 300 is a worthy option to consider.
