(11 Jul 2015) A volcanic eruption on Indonesia's main island of Java has sparked transportation chaos with international airlines cancelling flights to the country's resort island of Bali.
The volcano has proven particularly problematic for Australians, who are currently flocking to Bali for vacations during the Australian school holiday break.
The eruption of Mount Raung in East Java province about 150 kilometres (93 miles) from Bali's international airport Friday blasted ash and debris 3,800 meters (12,460 feet) into the air, forcing authorities to close few airports due to the risks posed by volcanic ash.
