We are used to doing "pedal bike" trips, but this was our first long "motor bike" trip! We drove our motorcycle from Waynesboro, VA to Asheville, NC on the Blue Ridge Parkway - America's longest linear park.

If we had another day (or spent less time having a flat tire/exploring Boone), we would have gone from Asheville down to Cherokee NC, where the parkway ends. We had originally planned to start at Front Royal, VA and do Skyline Drive down to the start of the Parkway as well. This was a great first parkway trip though, and each day was beautiful!

Day 1: Tuxedo NC to Roanoke, VA on highways
Day 2: Roanoke to Waynesboro (the start), and down to Roanoke again.
Day 3: Roanoke VA to Blowing Rock, NC
Day 4: Blowing Rock NC to Asheville, NC
