This easy-to-make simple broccoli salad is loaded with everything good - bacon, apples, cheese, onion, carrots, craisins, walnuts, and of course fresh broccoli. Toss it with the homemade dressing and it will be a delicious side dish for all your summer BBQ's or party!
A few tips when making this salad: If you buy pre cut carrots, it save you a ton of time and they aren't much more expensive.
The other ingredients that I used to make this easy dish:
-Craisins (I used the 50% less sugar variety because they are sweet enough without all the sugar)
-Kroger walnuts
-Kroger Fully-cooked bacon (you could cook your own, but this just saves you additional work and time)
-Kroger sharp cheddar cheese
-Gala apple
-Red onion
After chopping up the apple, onion, cheese, and bacon, throw all the ingredients into a large bowl. This salad will feed the masses, so you want to make sure you have a bowl big enough to hold all of it! and the dressing is SO EASY!
