French government spokesperson called for calm on Wednesday after the killing of a teenager by police during a traffic strop. Speaking after a cabinet meeting with President Emmanuel Macron, spokesperson Olivier Veran said that a police officer is in custody and is being investigated over "voluntary homicide."
