I test the accuracy and ability of the AirForce Texan .457 to kill deer out at 200 yards, although the Texan is still producing 360 foot pounds of energy at 200 yards, the question is can it put a bullet in the kill zone at that range? The state of Idaho says you need 350 foot pounds at the muzzle to hunt deer/elk and even bear, the AirForce Texan can produce up to 750 foot pounds at the muzzle.
