Popular actor Allu Arjun has been remanded to 14 days of judicial custody following his alleged involvement in a stampede at the premiere of his film “Pushpa 2: The Rule”.¹ The tragic event occurred at Sandhya Theatre, resulting in the death of 35-year-old Revathi and leaving her son hospitalized with serious injuries.

The incident unfolded on December 4 when Allu Arjun’s appearance at the venue caused an uncontrolled surge of fans attempting to enter the theater. Reports suggest that the chaos was due to insufficient crowd management and security arrangements.

Allu Arjun, his security team, and the theatre management have been charged under sections 105 and 118(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at the Chikkadpally police station."
