With the anticipated devolution white paper, what do people want to see from this document?
Devolution is often talked about as an outcome, rather than a process. Panellists talked about which model they believe would work best for the North of England, and discussed whether it will essentially help to deliver a better quality of life and opportunities for people.
Furthermore, will devolution help to level-up the country and reduce the North-South divide?

Transport for the North is England's first Sub-national Transport Body. It was formed to transform the transport system across the region, providing the infrastructure needed to drive economic growth.
TfN is making the case for pan-Northern strategic transport improvements, and its Strategic Transport Plan (STP) will rebalance decades of underinvestment and transform the lives of people in the North.
