Felix Strong competed in the Squat event at the World Single Lift Championship on 2 June in Sardinia, held by the World Drug Free Powerlifting Federation. On his third attempt he successfully squatted 180 kg (unequipped) to become world champion in the T2 (16-17 year) -82.5 kg (bodyweight) category.
