⚡ The Battle of the Horns of Hama or Hammah was fought on 1175 AD, near the Syrian city of Hama. The Ayyubid Dynasty faced the Zengid Atabegate of Aleppo, Mosul and Damascus.
The result of the battle left Saladin in control of Damascus, Baalbek, and Homs, after which he crowned himself Sultan of Egypt and Syria.
