Check out the world famous volcano show at The Mirage Hotel & Casino before it's gone! Las Vegas' MGM Mirage has been firing up the volcano for over 30 years, since 1989. It erupts in a nightly fiery display with simulated lava and a dramatic soundtrack. However, its days are numbered as the resort was bought by Hard Rock International who plans to remodel the entire property including tearing down the volcano in 2024. It will eventually be replaced with a guitar shaped hotel tower but will forever live on as one of the most iconic Las Vegas relics.
