The Municipality of Morelia, Michoacán, México is located in the south central axis of the neovolcanic zone, an area exposed to different geological and hidrometeorological hazards. The presentation analyzed the results of public policies, which incorporate the risk management process as a core element in the planning of development of the municipality of Morelia.
