We cut a tire in half and placed it on a rim so you can see how it fits against the rim. The bead bundle in the tire is locked in place by the bead retainer on the rim. This positive lock helps keep the tire in place while cornering, especially when the tire pressure is low. The bead retention system makes it very difficult to change tires.
