City: Newark, CA
Amtrak #171 leads the Southbound Amtrak #11 Coast Starlight, passing at Mowry Avenue 11:17 a.m. that is 1 hour and 50 minutes late. This train was late due to some issues around Seattle, WA, and the drawbridge between Martinez and Benicia was open. I figured that was another cause of the train to be late because according to a live Amtrak map, Capitol Corridors #720 and #729 were also at 0 mph behind the drawbridge.
I haven't filmed this crossing in 2 years and there has been some changes. The first change is that one pair of the east gate's light has been replaced to GE Pixalated LEDs, and the second change is both of the gate's barrier have been replaced with a new one with NEG Gate LEDs.
