Back to tramways. The Seaton Tramway, or Seaton District tramway runs for about 3 miles along the Axe estuary between Colyton in the north and Seaton on the South, with a couple intermediate stops, including at Colyford, where there is 1 of 3 non-barrier level crossings in Devon, as well as Wetlands Halt, and Seaton Riverside Halt. The tramway operates over part of the former Seaton Branch Line, which closed in March 1966. I visited Seaton Junction in the evening for a touch of Then & Now. In the mixed conditions, four trams were running, these were:

I want to call tram 11 ‘The Pink Panther’.
