Amy Wax, Frances Widdowson, and Elizabeth Weiss, are three prominent scholars who have been targeted by their universities and colleagues for daring to pursue uncomfortable truths. Amy Wax has been targeted for pointing out the pernicious consequences of affirmative action policies on student performance at the University of Pennsylvania law school. Frances Widdowson was forced out of her tenured position at Mount Royal University in Calgary for questioning the false genocide narrative of mass burials at Indian residential schools. Elizabeth Weiss has been deprived and hounded from her position at San Jose State University for her insistence that archaeological human remains and artifacts are legitimate objects of scientific inquiry, and for questioning the repatriation and reburial of such artifacts.
On the evening of Friday, August 23, 2024, these three women came together for a live event at the Manhattan headquarters of the National Association of Scholars, for presentations, questions and discussions.
