Head of Cabbage, shredded
1 onion, sliced
½ stick butter, melted
Salt/Pepper
1 can Cream of Chicken Soup
1 cup mayonnaise
1 sleeve Ritz Crackers, crushed
1 stick butter, melted
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Place the shredded cabbage in a 9x13 baking dish. Put the onions over the cabbage, pour the melted butter over the cabbage and add salt and pepper. In a separate bowl; add the soup and the mayonnaise and mix well. Spread evenly over the cabbage.
Crush the Ritz Crackers, add the melted butter and cheese; mix well. Pour the topping over the casserole. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes.
On our way to Georgia, Ron and I stopped at a restaurant and had this cabbage casserole and it was so delicious. What a great side dish to serve your family and take to a Potluck Dinner. I hope you would consider making it for your family.
