On a sunny summer's afternoon at Ajni, I planned to spend some time rail fanning. I got to capture some really fast moving trains.
1. We see a KJM WDP4 and a WDS6 involved in shunting activities near the coach yard.
2. Next, we see a light moving AJNI WAP7 heading towards the coach yard.
3. A furious TKD WAP7 skips Ajni with the Tamil Nadu Express.
4. The Tamil Nadu Express coming from New Delhi with a sparkling white TKD WAP7, with the P7 decals on it's side, stops at Ajni.
5. My favourite locomotive "WAP 4" is next, with the Tatanagar LTT Antyodaya Express. The train makes a slow approach and glides by the station.
6. Some freight action next, with a AJNI WAG9 in charge of a coal laden BOXN rake. The train crawled towards the station, and glided past it.
7. A furiously honking AJNI WAP7 charges down the station with a Humsafar Express. Which one exactly, I wasn't able to see, due to the speed of the train.
8. The KJM WDP4 makes a return with the Ajni LTT Express, which had just reported to the station to begin it's journey to Mumbai.
9. Another furiously honking WAP7, this time from the Lallaguda Shed, skips the station with the AP AC Express.
10. Next up, is the Howrah Mumbai Express with a beautiful honking WAP7, the looks in a need of a fresh paint job. The train made a slow entry and accelerated out of the station.
11. My favourite locomotive- "The Red Beast BRC WAP4" makes a comeback with the Puri Ahmedabad Express, that honks and glides by me.
12. To my delight, another P4, approached the station with the Lucknow Yesvantpur Express. The train showcases it's beautiful honking on the way past.
13. As the previous train went by, a brand new LGD P7 almost scared me with it's quiet approach. It sped away in no time with the Telangana Express!!
