We had the privilege of travelling with JASNA, or the Jane Austen Society of North America’s Spring Tour of England! We toured many places that played a significant role in Jane Austen’s life, as well many filming locations of her books. Join us for a beautiful relaxing travel vlog around England as we explore the cities of Windsor, Lichfield, Longnor, and Chatsworth in 4K! We started our tour near Windsor castle and travelled up into Staffordshire. Our first stop was the small cathedral city of Lichfield, the birthplace of Samuel Johnson, and later we made our way to Chapel Street in Longnor, which was used as the location for Lambton in the 1995 TV mini-series of Pride & Predjudice. We later explored Chatsworth, the historic home of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, which was used as the exterior setting for Pemberly in the 2005 film of Pride & Prejudice. The interior featured as the grand staircase and sculpture gallery of Pemberly.
