First ever trials of using acacia tree seeds pelleted in a special proprietary mix of biochar to aerial seed degraded dryland forests and improve biodiversity in areas suffering from overgrazing, fires, charcoal burning etc. in Kenya.
These were the first speed and altitude trials above an old quarry and some fallow farm land near Ethi. At 100 knots and 1,500ft the spread is about 1 seed ball per 20sq meters at 30knots and 200ft the spread is about 1 seed ball per 2sq meters when dispersed by hand.
