"Mystery Train" is a song written and recorded by American blues musician Junior Parker in 1953. Originally performed in the style of a Memphis blues or rhythm and blues tune, it was inspired by earlier songs and later became a popular rockabilly song, as first covered by Elvis Presley, then numerous others. Elvis Presley's version of "Mystery Train" was first released on August 20, 1955, as the B-side of "I Forgot to Remember to Forget". In 2003, Rolling Stone magazine ranked it at number 77 on its list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.
Elvis would first perform ‘Tiger Man’ in concert at his first 1969 Las Vegas International season and would continue playing it through the years – usually in a medley with Mystery Train - until his last performance at Saginaw on May 3 1977. Elvis: "That's the Way It Is" is the soundtrack album by American singer and musician Elvis Presley from the 1970 documentary of the same name. It was released on November 11, 1970, by RCA Victor. The album consists of eight studio tracks recorded at RCA Studio B in Nashville, and four live tracks recorded at the International Hotel in Las Vegas.
