This recipe is inspired by the Persian style of cooking lamb shanks. I wanted to give it a bit of a twist and decided to cook it with a leg of lamb. This dish is traditionally served with Jeweled Rice another traditional Persian rice dish, but you can serve it with Pulao or fried rice, it even goes well with Naans. Give this lovely aromatic and flavourful dish a try and enjoy!
