At Top Farms Głupczyce I work in the Experience and Analysis department, where I am responsible for precision farmimg.

Thanks to fact that all four Agrifac sprayers are equipped with the SSP and DDP system, we are in higher level of precision farming. SSP, or StrictSprayPlus, means each nozzle becomes a separate section. So each machine with 36 meter wide spray boom is equipped with 144 separate sections. DDP, or DynamicDosePlus, means each section can spray separately and with any different dose of liquid. This can be used while applying variable herbicide.

The usage of those two systems I'll present on the screen. We grow 100 hectare of soybeans. On this field we experience problem with weeds, mainly thistle. Thanks to orthophotomap obtained from the drone ,we are able to point directly where thistle occurs at a resolution of 30cm. Thanks to it we are able to apply exact amount of herbicide onto specific place on the field. Here can you see this. Now please try to imagine that if we were to spray in conventional way, we would have had to prepare liquid for area of 100 hectares. If we decided to spray selectively without SSP and DDP, we would have been using all 144 nozzles and cover an arrea of 20 hectares. With the SSP and DDP systems, it's only 2 hectares. So savings in this case are 98%. We can use the variable dosage for nitrogen fertilization, growth regulators, micro elements and herbicide spraying. Savings in variable nitrogen fertilization on our farm vary from 10-20%, so we use 10-20% less fertilizers with this technology.

In my opinion, Agrifac takes precision farming to an whole other level. When we used variable fertilization technology two years ago, it was only possible over an area of 36 meters, ie across the full width of the boom..Now with the use of Agrifac Condor Endurance we can spray at 25cm, which gives us great savings.

Not so long, imaging with the use of satellites was popular. Nowadays precision farming is going through changes were imaging with drones at a resolution of 20-30cm is populair, which means that the equipment capabilities of the sprayer are getting very high. I highly recommend Agrifac sprayers to farmers who take precision farming seriously.
