India's Jaishankar Takes "Karma" Jibe At Pakistan | Subscribe to Firstpost
India exposed Pakistan’s “terror policy” at the 79th UNGA Session. Indian External Affairs Minister (EAM) S Jaishankar took a jibe at Pakistan and said the country is left behind in the global order due to its “karma”. The Indian EAM said that Pakistan should not blame the world for its present condition as its conscious choices led to disastrous consequences. Jaishankar also lashed out at Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif and reiterated India’s stand on cross-border terrorism. He said "Pakistan's policy of cross-border terrorism will never succeed." Jaishankar said that vacation of "illegally occupied Indian territory by Pakistan" is the only unresolved issue between the two countries. He added Pakistan’s GDP can only be measured in terms of radicalisation. Jaishankar’s remarks followed Sharif's address at the UNGA, in which he called for repealing the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir that granted special status to the erstwhile state.
