China's ties with Sri Lanka have come under scrutiny in India. New Delhi is keeping close watch over its neighbour, following reports that a Chinese research ship is scheduled to make a controversial port call in Sri Lanka today (Aug 11). New Delhi believes the Yuan Wang 5 is a spy vessel that's equipped with satellite monitoring capabilities. China has slammed India's concerns as "senseless".
