A lifelong member of Magen David, Isaac Malka is a rising freshman at Brandeis University studying international relations. He recently returned from living in Rabat, Morocco for one year on a US State Department scholarship.
Isaac will be speaking about his time in Morocco and the current state of the Moroccan Jewish community. He will be discussing Moroccan Jewish identity, and sharing some of his extensive research of the Mellahs (Jewish Communities) of Morocco.
