I definitely had to find my feet as a judge because at first I found it incredibly difficult to provide any critical feedback to people who had just spent hours baking their masterpiece. But by maybe ep 3 I think I found a way to use my wealth of knowledge about baking and provide feedback in a constructive, kind way. Sending people home sucked every time though. I had no idea how much I would like everyone 🥹

The skills of all of the contestants were incredible. Peter and I put some challenging technical recipes in front of you and you did better at some of them than I did during my preliminary test bakes.

My co-judge Peter Gordon, I kind of instantly knew would become a friend for life. In between shooting we would hang out in the little cottage I was staying in and have in-depth talks about life, love and business. After the filming was over I think we hung out again the very next night.

I loved every minute of being around the weirdos that are Hayley and Pax. It was constant lols. Thanks so much to Carl the producer, the entire crew, the beautiful H&MU and wardrobe teams…so much love for everyone who made this experience so special 😭❤️🫶
