The Flying Saucer is celebrating 50 years on earth. The restaurant is a go-to spot in Niagara Falls. As a special treat for their faithful customers, the restaurant brought back its prices from 1972 as they reflect on their decades of service.
It was a special day for the owner Lillian Dicienzo who opened the restaurant with her late husband Henry in 1972. "I can't believe it's been 50 years. It just flew by," Dicienzo said.
The family business hopes The Flying Saucer will live on to see 100 years in Niagara Falls.
The party continues on Lundys Lane at The Flying Saucer for dinner tonight. The special menu with 1972 prices remains in effect until 10 p.m.
