Wildlife Artist, Geoffrey C. Smith, explores the Wakodahatchee Wetlands to learn more about the birds, their behavior, and the environment they live in.
Wakodahatchee Wetlands is located in Boyton Beach around 50 acres of artificial wetlands created with the treated water from their sewage treatment plant. While visiting Geoffr saw We will take a look at some vital birds in our Florida Ecosystem. They have designed an area to attract the birds and scrape the nesting and feeding of birds. Known statewide and probably nationally as a place for birders to come and photograph all the different wading and water birds of Florida. It is a wonderful experience to see the birds in their natural environment.
