My favorite way to tank in new world aeternum is with the greatsword. Usually I will have a hammer on me instead of a spear, but I didn't have one when I loaded up in the dungeon. Spear also works good in ennead because of the kick which will stop the bird from teleporting. If you have any questions feel free to ask me. Thanks.
