I built this kitchen in my basement but the walls were a bit bowed. So I had a few little gaps around the kitchen cabinetry. The typical way to fix this problem at this point would be to cut an end panel of the same material of the cabinetry and attach it to the side, therefore covering the gap between the wall and cabinet. Instead of going that direction, I chose to go with a simple installation of trim at the end of the cabinet. I think it adds a little design element and does the job of covering any gaps between the wall and cabinet.
