Far more than a simple facelift, the 2024 Aston Martin Vantage has undergone substantial re-engineering in an attempt to steal more sales from the benchmark Porsche 911 and the brawny Mercedes-AMG GT line-up.
Aston Martin has doubled down on its trademark good looks with the new Vantage and under its svelte skin there’s an upgraded twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8, updated gearbox, better suspension, improved brakes and more.
The result is the 2024 version of the Aston Martin Vantage is as good as all-new. It’s a faster, more refined and significantly more athletic version of its old self and, thanks to an upgraded interior, also more luxurious than before with a character that’s less parts bin and more bespoke.
But this makeover of Aston’s entry-level coupe doesn’t come cheap. While it’s well-equipped as standard, key options such as the many carbon-fibre cabin and exterior flourishes, plus wheel and audio choices and functional upgrades such as sports seats and carbon-ceramic brakes, will quickly compound the Vantage’s already elevated $410,000 price tag.
