Corpus Christi police are looking for two men who made off with five 18-packs of beer from a convenience store on July 8, 2011. Officers were called to the 5700 block of Kostoryz at 4:53 a.m. where a store clerk told them two Hispanic men whom he recognized from a previous beer theft entered the store. The clerk said the men grabbed the Budweiser beer and he told the men they could not buy the beer. Police said the two men forced their way out of the store through the clerk and got into an older model two-door vehicle. The clerk said he chased after the men and one hit him in the head with a can of beer as they left eastbound on Holly Road toward Carroll Lane.
