► The man who calls this his office is clinging to his job, Boris Johnson saying he'll carry on, but one by one ministers are deserting his government. 35 MPs have quit their government roles in the last 24 hours.
It started with a one-two punch from big hitters Rishi Sunak and Sajid Javid, and they've been followed by a wave of resignations from junior ministers and aides. The 1922 committee has been meeting this afternoon deciding Boris Johnson's future.. a meeting that could force his resignation.
