A video of the Mayon Volcano's activity captured today, June 16, 2023, after “very slow” lava effusion from the summit crater of Mayon Volcano continued for the fifth night on Thursday, June 15, resulting in increased events of rockfall and pyroclastic density current (PDC).
In a bulletin issued at 8 a.m. on Friday, June 16, Phivolcs said the lava effusion continued to feed lava flows and collapse debris on the Mi-isi and Bonga gullies on the south and southeastern sides, respectively. (MB Video by Ali Vicoy)
