A comparison between two beautiful historical instruments: a 1871 London Erard and a 1876 parisian Erard.
The comparison was recorded at the same location with the same recording technique: two microphones (RØDE NT1 Kit) placed far from the piano and far from each other.
Recorded and filmed on January 27, 2019 at Bernard Lermercier's house, "Site B", Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium.

Following his interest in ancient pianos tuning, he designed his personal 1/8 comma temperament for the romantic and impressionist repertoire [ Ссылка ]
