How To Make Homemade Southern PEACH COBBLER From Scratch Recipe

INGREDIENTS:
PEACH MIXTURE:
6 cups peeled and sliced fresh peaches
1 cup sugar
pinch of salt
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
4 to 6 grates of nutmeg
In large sauce pan combine above ingredients except spices.
Cook and stir on medium heat until peaches softened, sauce thickened and clear.
This will take 7-10 minutes.
Remove from heat, stir in spices and slightly cool.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Farenheit
1 stick butter (1/2 cup) - melt in 9 x 13 pan in pre heated oven
BATTER:
1 1/2 cups self rising flour
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups milk
*Mix above ingredients. Batter will be thin.
Pour over melted butter. Do not stir.
Spoon peach mixture over batter. Do not stir.
Bake at 350 degree Farenheit oven for 50 minutes or until golden brown.
10 minutes before done, you can sprinkle with cinnamon and raw (turbine) sugar.
Cool for 30 minutes before serving.
Enjoy.

Easy UNIQUE Amish Blackberry Cobbler ~ Berry Cobbler Recipe

INGREDIENTS:
2 cups blackberries
3/4 cup apple juice or any berry juice
1 cup flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 cup unsalted butter - room temp
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
well buttered baking dish
Preheat oven 350 degrees F
Cream butter and sugar together.
Add baking powder to flour and mix well.
Add flour mixture to creamed butter/sugar alternating with milk.
Mix in between and mix just to combine. Do not overmix.
Pour batter into well buttered baking dish and level out.
Sprinkle berries on top.
Pour apple juice on top.
Bake at 350 degree F for 45-50 minutes until firm and golden
brown on top.
Let rest for 30 minutes before serving.
Enjoy.

INGREDIENTS:
1 - 21oz can of lemon pie filling
1 stick butter (1/2 cup) - melt in 9 x 13 pan in pre heated oven
LEMON SUGAR TOPPING:
2 Tbsp. raw (turbine) sugar
zest of one lemon
BATTER:
1 1/2 cups self rising flour
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups milk
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
1 tsp. pure lemon extract
Mix above ingredients. Batter will be thin.
Pour over melted butter. Do not stir.
Spoon lemon filling over batter. Do not stir.
Bake at 350 degree Farenheit oven for 40-50 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool for 30 minutes before serving.
Enjoy.
